Our Team!

Colleen Flaherty, CSCS – Founder

With this brick and morter, the mission is to bring parents the professionals they need, under one roof, with children in tow, AND it’s a place to hang out. With that, it’s a place professionals can do their thing! This benefits the entire community and uplevels all our knowledge, depth of community connection, support, and health. The more diverse tools we have in our tool belt, the better we are at adapting to the events and environments of our every day lives. Colleen absolutely loves helping the collective be better, together. That’s probably why she loved playing soccer, a team must work synergistically to be successful and they need a great coach to lead them.

Her passion lies in helping humans, kids to adults, have fun through movement and sport. She’s coached both soccer and exercise, and the in-person collective experiences one gets from being in a group, working towards a similar goal, is simply irreplaceable. We NEED more gatherings, more opportunities to be challenged and fail and succeed, more learning about what our body is capable of (it’s powerful!), more outside the comfort zone with OTHERS helping and cheering us on. This is how we thrive!

Beverlyn Baer, MA, ERYT 200, RCYT

What started off as a passion for dance turned into an eye-and-soul-opening journey through various styles of yoga for Beverlyn. For years, the bedrock of her practice was Ashtanga Yoga, which then flourished and changed shape with influences from Iyengar, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative Yoga, and other movement modalities. With the guidance of her teachers and her own, personal experiences, Beverlyn has learned how to explore and question movement patterns and sensations in her body, as well as help her students learn the language that their own bodies speak. She guides her students through the process of observing, listening to, and honoring the sensations that their bodies send, with a playful approach to challenging shapes and movements. Consequently, she facilitates a space for students to discover a deeper layer of mind-body connection. Her classes are trauma-informed, inclusive, and take a more mindful look at thought patterns, somatic awareness, and the connection between strength, flexibility, and resilience.
